Permanent Residency Programs

  1. Express Entry System: for individuals who have an educational degree and at least one year of experience. There are 3 streams under Express Entry:

    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

  2. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs):

    • Each Canadian province and territory has its own immigration programs to nominate individuals based on their skills and work experience.

  3. Quebec Immigration Programs:

    • Quebec has its own immigration selection system. The Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) is one such example.

  4. Family Class Sponsorship: for Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents who wish to sponsor thier spouse, parents or children.Family Sponsorhip includes 3 categories

    • If you have a family member who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, they may be able to sponsor you.

  5. Start-Up Visa Program:

    • For individuals who plan to start a business in Canada and can secure support from designated organizations.

  6. Caregiver Program:

    • For individuals who are qualified to work in Canada as a caregiver.

  7. Atlantic Immigration Pilot:

    • Targeted at skilled workers and international graduates who want to work and live in one of the Atlantic provinces: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

  8. Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot:

    • Aimed at bringing skilled workers to smaller communities in Canada.

  9. Agri-Food Immigration Pilot:

    • For those with work experience in specific agri-food industries and job offers in certain eligible occupations.

  10. Canadian Student Visa:

    • If you plan to study in Canada, you can apply for a study permit which may eventually lead to permanent residency through various immigration pathways.

  11. Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program (EE PNP):

    • Some provinces have Express Entry-linked PNPs that allow them to nominate candidates directly from the Express Entry pool.

  12. Temporary Work Visas:

    • Working temporarily in Canada can be a pathway to permanent residency for some individuals. For example, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of the Express Entry categories that values Canadian work experience.
